Outdoor Maths
Maths moved outside so that the children had the space to measure using metre sticks this week. Despite the sub-zero temperatures they managed to use the metre sticks and chalk to measure long lengths around the playground. They also had a we shot of the infra red thermometer and found that the darkest, coldest spot in the playground was a teeth-chattering -5' in temperature! BRR!

Ukulele lessons
First lesson - very exciting! We learned three chords, the names for the different parts of our instrument and how to strum. Great fun!

Some of our children gave speeches to their respective houses on their suitability as candidates for Vice Captain and House Captain. They all did a great job!
